Welcome to 2017 Peninsula Youth Summer Ball—now in our 14th year! This newly developed program is designed for U8, U10, U12 & U14 players looking to develop their games recreationally or competitively, but not ready for a full commitment to offseason travel lacrosse. Summer Ball will focus first and foremost on teaching the fundamentals and basics of the sport so that over time, our players have the skills to master the game.
Summer Ball sessions will be taught and overseen by Encore coaches and directors. Player training sessions will consist of “chalk talks” where coaches will teach and players can ask questions about lacrosse. These sessions will take place before every practice so every player knows and understands what they will be learning on the field. Players also get the opportunity to compete in the Battle of the Bay Tournament on June 24th – 25th.
